Thnks so much for your response so far. The first method you describe seems very long and I'm scared to try that so I think maybe I'll try the chkdsk command method. to determine if it's a enclosure/USB3/Cable problem, before trying to force any type recovery on your DATA.What was the Drive ORIGINALLY formated at and # of partitions/sizes? If chkdsk fails to fix the problem then follow the instructions on the above guide.
