My temps never go higher than 60C. Do you have a C0/C1 i7 920?what HSF are you using?? Should find another test to do, I guess but 12 hours seemed good enough for me at that time... The qpi/uncore is called qpi/DRAM on my bios for some strange reason. It's currently running at 3.36Ghz. We are working to restore service. The i7-920 is more than great enough at its stock frequency.BluRayHiDef In most games I play, there's quite a lot of noticeable dips in framerate.

solved Help me overclock please.. I'll let prime run for an hour then I'll try for 3.4Ghz. I didn't really want to go above 1.3v. Here are some simple guidelines for safely overclocking your processor.

Temps are a little higher than I hoped for, first core has reached 70oc, the othe three are around 67oc. I'm new! There are many reasons one might want to overclock, but in general, you'll get the most benefit if you're using your computer for CPU-intensive tasks, such as video encoding, 3D rendering, I've got it at 3.2MHz Core voltage 1.25 Dram voltage 1.64 Ram timings 7-7-7-20 Dram frequency 1282Mhz Do you think there's anything I should change or something I might've missed.
